   The streets were bustling with people as usual. Violet sat on a bench while people passed by her and cast curious glances at her. Violet’s parents often let her get away from the enormous mansion house and out in the busy streets of NewYork. This bench was her favorite spot. Her cat,Sunny,often joined her. She sat on Violet’s lap and often fell asleep. Today however she lay wide awake. Violet was a pretty girl. She had long black hair and black eyes. Today she was wearing a dark pink coat with white faux fur at the edges. “What is a little girl like you doing out here,”said a lady’s voice. Violet looked up and saw a lady looking down at her. “I-I’m fourteen,ma’am,”Violet stammered. “I see,” the lady said,”And do your parents know your here?” “Yes,ma’am,”Violet replied. “Good. Who are your parents?” she asked. “She is nosy,”Violet thought before she said,” Laura and Kayal Litery.” “Okay,” the lady said nodding,” So you’re Violet.” “Yes,” Violet admitted. “Well I’m off,”the lady said and left. Violet stood up and started on her daily walk. Sunny jumped into her arms. After some time they reached Central Park. They walked into the park and sat down in the green grass to rest. Sunny played and tried to pounced on butterflies. Violet lay down. She closed her eyes. Then she opened them. Violet sat up with start. She didn’t recognize anything. Infact she couldn’t see anything. She was in totall darkness. Sunny was gone and Violet was alone. THUMP! She landed in a pile of snow. She didn’t know she was falling. The ride down had been very smooth. Violet looked around. Around her was pine trees and snow. Suddenly, she heared a sound! She whirled around and saw nothing. But wait, there was the sound again. It was a rustling. All of a sudden a creature crashed through the trees! Violet screamed and hid behind a tree. After a few minutes a girl about her age came and asked,”Who are you?” Violet didn’t-couldn’t speak for a minute. Then she said,” I-I-I’m Violet.” “Well ,Violet,how did you get here?” “I don’t know,” Violet said in a tiny voice. “Just like me,” the girl murmured to herself. “Excuse me?” Violet asked,” I didn’t catch that.” “Never mind,” the girl said,”Come with me.” The girl lead her to the creature that had scared her,” This is Monicas.He’s a dinosaurs, I am Lilian Minater.” Violet gaped at the creature,”A dinosaur, but-but dinosaurs are extinct!” “That’s what you think,”Lilian taunted. Violed stared at the dinosaur,”What type is it?” Violet had never seen a real dinosaur. “It’s a Duckbill,”Lilian said,”Come on get on it’s back.” “Get on it’s back?” Violet asked as if Lilian were crazy. ” Yes,”Lilian answered blankly. “Very well,” Violet sighed. She grabed the reins and climbed up the dinosaur and sat on the sadal. Lilian climbed up and sat in front her. Soon Monicas was walking through the forest. “Where are we going?”Violet asked. The air was bitterly cold and her coat was not warm enough so she rubed her arms to keep warm. “We’re going to Waterfall City, it’s the capital of DinoKingdom,”Lilian replied. “DinoKingdom,hmm,”Violet mumbled to herself. About an hour later the two girls and Monicas had arrived at Waterfall City. It was magnificent! The whole city was made out of marble but the area that really made Violet stare was the waterfall. There was a building with a hole cut out in the middle and through it streamed the biggest waterfall Violet had ever seen!

“We might as well look around,” Chelsey said,” I’m curiose about where we are.” “Okay,”Marita sighed,”But how are we going to see? It’s as black as midnight.” Suddenly there was a burst of light and the room flooded with light. The girls saw a boy step out from behide a long pole. “Were you spying on us?” Sandy asked. Sandy never ever liked people who spyed. “Sorry your Highness!”the boy exclaimed. He got down on his knees and his nose nearly touched Sandy’s shoes. “Wow!,” Chelsey exclaimed. No one had ever treated Sandy like that. Sandy was a pretty girl. With her long brown hair and blue eyes. But no one ever treated her like that. “Your Highness?” Sandy asked. “Yes,” the boy said getting up,” You are our Queen.” Sandy’s eyes were wide. “Can you take us home?” Marita asked. “Home? You are home,”the boy said,” At least your sister’s home,” “Take us HOME!” Marian screamed. The boy looked down,surprised at this sudden out-burst. He knelt down so he looked Mairian strait in her eyes,”I’m sorry. I can’t do that,”the boy said. He got up. “Please follow me,”he said quietly. Chelsey could have sworn that he looked sad.

1. Roll easter eggs under the doors.

2. Strike up a conversation with the person in the cubical next to you.

3. Smear peanut butter on a peice of toilet paper, drop it over the side, and say “Whoopsie dasiy!” or, “could you please kick that over?” (Its meant to look like runny poo)

4. Drop a marble into the toilet, and say loudly “DARN my glass eye!”

5. Stick your hand under a cubical and say “may i borrow a high lighter?”

6. Say, “hmm, i’ve never seen it that colour before.”

7. Say, “Darn, I knew that drain hole was a little too small.Now what am I gonna to do?”

8. Compliment people on their shoes, by looking under the doors.

9. Pretend to fall in.

10. Start a sing-a-long.

11. Ask loudly “When does the movie start?”

I was so hot! I had been working all day at the dump. I hadn’t had much luck. All I found was a tin can, a news paper, and a empty water bottle. It was getting dark. I hurried toward the market. Finally, I reached a stall with a bulky man standing behind the counter. “There you are you useless girl,”he said. “Sorry I-I’m late,” I stammered. “See that it doesn’t happen again,”he growled as he took the items from my hands. Then he dropped one penny in my trembling hands. ”I think you gave me the wrong amount of money. You were supposed to give me three pennies remember? One for each item.” I begged. “Get out of here!!”he bellowed angrily. I ran as fast as I could. When I was far away from his stall I slowed down. Then I slowly began to trudge home. My stomach growled. I hadn’t had a bite to eat all day and I was beginning to feeling a little light-headed. I went inside my small hut, and found my two little sisters asleep on the floor. My parents were sick and in bed. I curled up by my sisters. My bones ached against the cold hard floor. I bolted from my sleep. I felt sick to my stomach. I was about to throw up! I ran outside and bent over in the grass. I scurried into the house to get a drink of water, but the water pail was empty. So I tip-toed to the dump to look for items again.
