Always there for me
Never gone for long
Gives me the things I need
Takes care of me all day long!
{For my mom! Who never fails to be there for me!!!} 

Our red caravan pulled into the dirt driveway of my new home. “We’re here! Isn’t wonderful!” exclaimed my mom. Wonderful wasn’t the word for it; a permanent desaster was more like it. The house had two-stories and was mustard yellow. the paint was peeling off the green porch, one of the windows had a long crack through it, and shingles were missing from the roof. Yep, that was my mother’s idea of “wonderful”. I said nothing and just climbed out of the van. the moving poeple had come and gone yesterday, so when we stepped foot in the house it was already furnished. “It’s getting late, i’m turning in for the night.” i told my mom, but the real reason was that i needed to think over some things. My room was on the second floor and i noted that it was infested with ants, spiders and flies. i sighed, pulling my matress out of the room and lying down in the hallway. at lease the bugs were locked in. i stared at the ceiling unhappilly. i had a decision to make. Was i going to go live with my strict, paranoid and annoying dad, with my old friends and bedroom, or was i going to stay with my mom that i liked so much more, and have no bedroom and start from scratch for my friendships? Both had downsides and plus sides, but it….

The lady looked at me with a look of disgust then said, “Let me help you”. “No, I have no need of your help”, I heard myself say. ”Fine, let me do this the hard way! I’m going to kill you if you don’t come with me”, The fake Sarah said. “Ha, I find that funny”, I said starting into a run. She kept up easily then said, “Fine be like that”. She tackled me and help a gun to my head. “You are a real dummy aren’t you”? I heard ny voice say sarcastically. Her gun melted and she punched me in the face. I picked her up off of me and said, “Look into my eyes”. “I know your tricks, Jennifer”, The fake Sarah laughed. I put a finger to her juglar vein and pressed down. I looked into her eyes and she turned into a puff of smoke. “Apparently not”, I heard myself laugh. Thats when I saw Danni looking straight at me. He walked over to me and the clock striked 1:00 pm. I fell to my knees and the changing process reversed and I screamed and hollered as I bacame myself again. I stood up weakly and Danni was suddenly infront of me. “I’m sorry, Jen. I truly am”, Danni said. “Who are you”? I asked with a sly smile. “Come on, please. Jenny”, Danni said grabbing my wrist. All of a sudden I dug my phone out my pocket and turned it on. It vibrated and I got a text:

Gavin: I broke off the wedding meet me at Hannah’s Bugers.

I looked at my phone in amazement and text back:

Jen: No, get back with her you two belong together.

Five seconds later I got a message:

Gavin: We broke up because she doesn’t love me. She likes  Timothy.

I looked at my phone like it were fire and text back:

Jen: Why do you need me?

This took a minute and then I got a small text:

Gavin: I need a shoulder or two to lean on. And by the way my brothers looking for you. I told him you’d be out jogging by the ‘big clock’. Are you mad?

I took a deep breath then said to myself, “I’m going to kill him”. “Gavin”? Danni asked. I ignored him and text back quickly.

Jen: I hate you let me show you how much I hate you infront of the ’big clock’. Meet me there in about oh lets say…now.

I took a second to think and I suddenly got a really short text:

Gavin: Ok

Gavin pulled up in a red car beside the ‘big clock’ and Danni stared at the ground. “Danni, you had your chance to tick me off many times and I never let you have it. This time I might just let it flow”, I said ruffling my hair. “Jen, Can we talk please”? Danni asked. “2:00 pm, my house. Don’t be late”, I said. He smiled and then he was gone out of sight. Gavin walked over to me and I suddenly knew in a terrifying heartbeat that I didn’t like Gavin that much. “Will you marry me”? Gavin asked getting on one knee and pulling out a big ring. I was taken aback by the question and Gavin looked up at me hopefully. “Why”? I asked. “Because I love you”, Gavin said softly. “This is the place we first met I should have known”, I said looking down at him. Gavin smiled then said, “Will you? Jenny? I have always liked you but it took me a while to figure out that I love you”, Gavin said. “I’m only sixteen”, I said sadly. “Marry me”? Gavin asked pleadingly. “Come on, you can’t be serious! I’m not your type”, I said throwing my hands in the air. “Just answer the question”, Gavin said. I took a breath then said, “I can’t. I’m too young, my Mom wouldn’t allow it, she’d kill you, and I just…….I like you and all but…..I don’t love you”. Gavin stood up and I could smell his pain and heartbreak. He kissed my cheek then said, “I’ll always love you. No matter what happens or who you date or marry. I love you”. I felt tears come to my eyes and I said, “Oh! Gavin, your making me cry”! I hugged him tightly and said, “Call me whenever you want I’ll always answer for you”. I ran to my house and got there at exactly 2:00 pm. Danni sat on my porch and when he saw me he stood up and said, “Whats wrong”? “G-Gavin p-p-proposed t-to me and I said no! And he said he loved me and I said I didn’t love him and he almost cried. Ah, God! I hurt him so bad”, I cried. Danni pulled me into a hug and said, “He’ll get over it”. “No he wont”, I said madly. Danni pulled away then said, “What would you say if I proposed”? “I don’t know why are you asking”? I asked. “No reason! Sit down”, Danni ordered. We sat down and he touched my cheek with the back of his hand. I looked at him curiously then said, “Can I test you”? “Sure, what do you want to ask”? He asked. I smiled then said, “Nonverbal”. I gave him a peck on the lips and he looked at me confused. I smiled then he said, “I’m going to fail”. He pulled me closer and kissed me for a minute. I couldn’t breathe and then he stopped and I could breathe again. “When we first met and I asked you all those questions were you for real about all the other girls”? I asked breathlessly. “No, not at all”, Danni said looking me in the eye. “What do you think that test was about”? I asked. “That wasn’t a test. You like me”, Danni smiled after he kissed my cheek. “Okay, maybe I do”, I laughed. “I like you, too”, Danni said flatly. “I know I sort of got the picture when you wouldn’t stop calling”, I laughed. “Oh, well I don’t know how to use a cell phone”, Danni lied. “Liar”, I said running my fingers through his hair. “Want to know what I love about you”? He asked. “What”? I asked. “You ask questions and you’re not afraid of the answers. And you’re you”! Danni smiled. “Well, I like everything about you except the fact that you’re not that open with people”, I said. Danni leaned down and kissed my cheek again and said, “Do you think Timothy or Gavin will be mad about us”? “Who”? I smiled slyly. “Nobody”, Danni said with a smile.  (THIS IS THE LAST PART I AM SORRY IF YOU WANT ME TO KEEP GOING GIVE ME A GOOD REASON AND I WILL. )

I looked him directly in the eye and said, “You Jerk”. Tears flowed down my cheeks and Danni grabbed my wrist. “I’m sorry I was testing if you liked Gavin. And I was seeing how strong you are”, Danni said. “And how’s that supposed to help me? What good does that do”? I asked wiping a single tear off my cheek. “Because when you get a test you figure out how good you are. And in a test there a questions or actions, you showed me both”, Danni said. “You are a real Jerk Head! I wish I had never met you”, I said walking away. Danni let go of my hands and said, “Jenny”? I kept walking and I suddenly knew I had a new power. I could smell his pain, hurt, and confusion. But I didn’t look back……..except once and he looked really hurt. “Jen”? He asked his voice filled with pain and hurt. I turned back around and walked towards my house. “Jennifer”? He asked loudly as I grew farther appart from him. Tears flowed down my cheeks and I ran inside my house. I ran upstairs and burried my face in a small pillow. My cellphone rang and I answeredwith a muffled, “H-Hello”? “Please, don’t hang up. I’m-”, He didn’t get to finish because I already hung up. My phone rang all night while I was asleep and I finally turned it off. When I woke up in the morning I walked outside and went for a jog. I jogged around the block and the lake next to my house. Thats when I fell down screaming. A young lady in here twenties ran over to me and said, “Are you alright”? I covered my face and she started to yell, “Somebody help her”! I sobbed and sobbed as I changed into a Sage. Thats when the change happened and I had no control over my body. The lady looked down at me then said, “Y-you’re a Sage? My sister? I am the last Sage but apparently not”! I stood up and kept on jogging but she caught up easily. “I can help you, you know. I can help you control your powers”, The lady smiled. “No thanks, Ma’am. I have a trainer”, I heard myself say in a mature voice. Want flashed in her eyes and I could smell it in the air as she stopped me. “Let me take care of this trainer you have”, She ordered. “What is your name”? I heard myself ask. “Sarah Sotah”, She lied. I could smell the lie before she said it but I felt myself smile. “Sarah, I have to say. If you weren’t an innocent I’d make you turn into a pile of ash”, I promised.  TOO BE CONTINUED…….
