The mist stalks
on silent wolf feet
it wanders, waiting,
to engulf a city in its wings.
It watches with
unblinking eyes,
and sulks off.

Pretty nice!
Wait… my sister got a poem from school called “Fog.” It goes like this:
The fog comes
on little cat feet
It sits looking
over harbor and city
on silent haunches
and then moves on.
By Carol Stanberg
Don’t you think “Mist” copied off “Fog” a little? Or was this a mistake?
sorry I lost my password but i found it today.

Yes, we were doing a copy-cat thing at school and i was assigned to copy “Fog” but make it a little different. So i was supposed to copy it.
