Myself a Summer Package chapter 3 - July 14, 2010 by 123herman
This entry is part 2 of 2 in the series Myself a Summer Package chapter two

Myself a Summer Package Chapter 3

My dad gasped as Mary tore off Summer’s beautiful wig, it had looked so real, before it came off her head, that is.

Summer gasped too, her face turned pink, her mouth hung open in shock, she stood their as if she was a photograph, as if she was a movie star suddenly caught by the paparazzi. But there was, of course, a thread of sadness in her face, her eyes, even the way her eyebrows were placed showed signs of great devastation. A movie star would be more appalled and surprised.

“Did you really just do that?” My dad stepped in. He always was like that with me. Whenever I did something wrong, he acts surprised at how foolish i was for actually doing it. It makes me upset when he does that because you can tell he’s deeply disappointed.

“Oh my GOD, Mary!” Claire gasped, she was clearly revolted.

Mary looked up at my dad.

“I’m so sorry! Her, take your filthy,” (she whispered “filthy” so my dad wouldn’t hear.) “Wig!” She said to Summer, and sped out the door.

Summer’s eyes were full of terror, tears, and a hint of anger.

“I cant believe that girl, I’m sorry, Summer. And Jade, I don’t want you hanging out with that girl anymore. That…that Mary girl.” My dad said, patting Summer’s shoulder.

“Summer, it’s alright, don’t listen to Mrs.Meany-Mary. Jade and I are your friends.” Claire comforted her.

Summer broke down.

She started tearing up. She sniffled and stood there, her shoulders sagged, her emotions mixed in a pot of confusion and rage and her eyes were misty, they  twinkled as salty drops of water spilled from them. She sobbed, her shoulders shook, she limply picked up he wig and placed it on her head, then ran out of the room.

“Summer! Come back!” Claire screamed after her, but she didn’t move.

“Summer!” I yelled, scooping my inhaler up, puffing some inhaler air in me, and running out the door after her. Claire came sprinting behind while my dad stood by the door, he called; “Dont leave the hospital!” And watched us as we zipped into the far distance of the hallway.

Summer still hadn’t reach the entrance lobby yet, and Claire finally caught up to her.

“Stop! Jut stop! You know I’m bald now, go hate me like everyone else!” Summer cried while Claire shook hold of her wrists.

“Summer, we’ll be your friend no matter what,” Claire told her.

But Summer pushed her away.

“Just stop! That’s what all my friends have said and now they’re all gone!” Summer cried out.

“We wont ever leave you, Summer. I will never do that. Neither will Claire. We don’t care if you don’t have hair! I’m not gonna make fun of you or leave you. Me and Claire are not the type of people who want a perfect friend. Nobody is perfect and you just have to except it, I do. Claire does. We’re your friends.” I said, and Summer just cried on.

“But- Once I showed Justine, she left me. I told Kate, she left too. Linda told everyone. Now all I have is Macy and Simone!” She broke down.

Suddenly, I had a flash back.

Macy?

Simone?

Macy?

Simone?

MACY?!

SIMONE?!

Head-in-Pillow-at-Concert, Macy and Simone? The people who said they haunted the concert? The story Mary had said….- How could that be?

I remebered “Yea, my friends went to a concert.” Summer had told me  two days ago.

OH MY GOSH!

“They were the pillow case girls at the concert!” I said. Summer sadly nodded and sobbed.

“They are both autistic. I started hanging out with them because i had absolutely no one else to hang out with. They really arent that bad, Simone was fine except she sometimes blurts out random things. Still, everyone thought they were freaks. But they dont care what I look like, so i stayed with…wit….with…th…themmm!” Suddenly Summer let out such a cry i knew she was in a lot of pain.

“Summer, that’s alright, we dont care what you look like either. You aren’t a freak and its alright to hang out with them.” Claire said.

Summer finally smiled a bit.

I knew i had reached my receiver.

The True Meaning of Love – The Return - July 14, 2010 by FranticHope

Ages: 26

——————–…—–DAVEN’S POV—–…——————–

I had been standing in the rain for 3 hours now, on a ship dock. I am quite far from being alone, though, as I am surrounded by about 300 other people, all wrapped up in heavy fur jackets, like myself.

The reason for this has been widely advertised, much to the embarrasment of Gale. My fiance, as I now find myself calling her, made a name for herself in the past few years.

She is now a widely known singer, and was invited to go overseas to do a few concerts in Europe, and a few places in Asia.

It’s actually funny, how she had made all of that money from singing, how we know have a huge home. And how every room was painted professionally except for one. That room..was the room she planned before we were in a relationship.

——————–…—–GALE’S POV—–…——————–

I had to cover my ears as the ships horn blew, though I knew I shouldn’t be complaining. I had chosen to travel home in a ship, even though I was offered a private plane.

It’s surprising that no one is bothering me now, and I am enjoying it…a lot.

Everyone currently sees me as the calm singer, when in reality, I still am as I was when I was 13. I still enjoy loud things, strawberry ice cream, and still wear my old striped socks everyday.

Even though it was raining, everyone on the boat was still outside, waving at the people on the docks that we were now approaching. I myself was looking over the edge, holding onto my faux fur cap in the wind, and looked for my fiance.

I was so sad that he wouldn’t go with me, but I guess he had to. We don’t know many people where we live, and we still have my bird and wouldn’t have had anyone to take care of her.

——————–…—–DAVEN’S POV—–…——————–

I had spent fifteen minutes pushing my way to the front, trying to catch a glimpse of Gale. Actually, I’m sure plenty of people there were trying to do the same, but it didn’t matter.

I made it to the front just as the ship had docked, and they were starting to let people off.

Again, I had to start pushing my way to the front.

I had finally made it, and was ambushed by someone who was…hugging me.

“Hey, love, it’s good to be home with you.”

See, I still love you guys! I had nothing to do today, since it was raining, so I did this. Currently putting that last one on hold(The Movies), since I currently have many ideas popping into my head. I’m thinking about posting a side series at some point where they are reenacting classics with their own special twist, or my own special creation.
