Bloodthirst Chpt3 Prt1

Deilian shook his head”we are going to die,we are going to die,we are going to die.”he repeated like a crazed man.I stiffened,he had saved my life countless times now it was time I repay him. I gripped his shoulder tighter and pulled him out of his chair,he seemed to be in a trance,not responding to anything,but he kept mumbling those wretched words.”Deilian?”I asked quietly “Deilian.”I said louder frustration and fear taking over.”DEILIAN!”I shouted,suddenly his eyes cleared and he looked as if I had just dumped a bucket of cold water onto his head.I let go off him,hoping he would stand “we have to leave now.”I told him quietly.He nodded “But first we need to hunt,and then we will leave.”he said grabbing my arm and pulling me out of the door.We walked at a normal human pace until we were in the woods.There he let go of my arm,and we ran.I closed my eyes ,sure we were in the country-side now, and searched for scents.There was the heavy,musky scent of a heard of white-tailed deer,the sharp overpowering stench of fox,several small forest creatures….and then there was the sweet juicy scent of human.A smile crept across my face and I opened my eyes,I noticed that Deilian was heading toward the scent too,I could smell more than one human,which was good.I could hear the shallow breathing as if they were tired and the blood pumping through them.My mouth watered and I dropped into a hunting crouch,all my scenses trained on the spot of heat that was like a sign saying “FOOD” in big red letters.

okay so they do hunt humans and I am not sure if I should do the hunting seen.Reply
