They stare at my face

With judging eyes

As another tear

Falls from my cheek

They snicker

And laugh

As I lope through the halls

Trying to get away

My lope turns to a jog

As I run through the doors

I only find myself back where I started

Around in circles I follow other’s steps

Never quite ending

Where I’d like

My strut turns to a mess

And finally I come to my senses

But with all my confusion

I drove myself to a dead end

No where to go

No where to hide

Just me

Faced with my consequences
