The Fugitive

An old woman with a red coat stared in amazement as a figure hurtled past her from the sky and landed on the sidewalk He landed without a single sound his black face mask gleaming as he ran off into the night. The old woman suddenly whipped off her face mask and threw it into the bushes. She reached into her purse, took out a cell phone, and started talking. “I found him.”

“Sir here are our police records,” a assistant said as he handed a sheet of papers to the commander and chief. “Thanks Henry,” he replied skimming over the sheets. His eyes a blur as they went from one side of the paper to the other. “There I found it,” The commander and chief exclaimed happily. “He lived in…… Tennessee” “Men lets get this thief.”

The dark figure hurtled himself behind a building as he heard police sirens approach. Then like a shadow he flirted to the next building. What he didn’t know that they were waiting.

“Sir I see him through my sights,” a gunman said as he peered hard at the dark figure blending in to the dark night. “Ready until he enters the building, men,” he spoke talking into his radio. The dark figure sneaked into the building calling out softly,” Mother you here.” All he got of an answer was guns shooting.

Chapter Two of The Fugitive

Quickly he pressed himself against the floor hearing the bullets pass overhead he quickly crawled toward the back exit. He knew they would have the place surrounded but maybe he could sneak across the alleys. He decided that it was worth it. He quietly flittered out the door then stubbed his toe on a garbage can causing a loud noise. He sighed and whispered angrily, “Focus Ryan Focus.” He jumped over another trash can barely making it then he ran for what he was worth.

He knew that they would check the house to make sure they killed him and that would buy him some time. As he snuck by his neighbors garage he knew he needed a vehicle so he disabled the alarm and snuck inside. Looking around he saw no cars just a four wheeler. So without hesitation he opened the garage and raced down the driveway. He heard yelling coming from the house and put the pedal to the medal. He knew this was going it was going to be close.

He had two options whether to die or try. He decided the later. The fugitive raced around a corner pulling up beside Southwest Airport He saw a plane in the airway getting ready so he climbed a tree then jumped over the fence. He ran like he never ran before. Dodging cars and trucks he noticed a luggage escalator that was almost done. Before it was done unloading he had jumped in a huge bag and lay there silently. “Sir the luggage is done.” “We’re clear for liftoff.” a voice said right over him.

Ryan woke up to the sound of people screaming, “Help me help me.” He felt the plane doing a nose dive toward the floor. He scrambled out of the bag and into the seating area. He almost wished he didn’t. There was two men in sky masks yelling, “Everyone down.” I went back inside so they wouldn’t see me. “Why my plane,” Ryan grumbled thinking. He quickly yelled and screamed as loud as he could Hearing a one of them approach, “Hey you check it out,” a voice said. The footsteps got closer and closer. Finally one opened the door and shut it behind him peering around cautiously. He glanced at me hiding behind the door and before he could react I had knocked him unconscious.
